The Houston Zoo provides a fun, unique, and inspirational experience fostering appreciation, knowledge, and care for the natural world.

Essentially a small city encompassing a world of ecosystems and experiences, the Houston Zoo is made up of over 4,500 permanent animals. Set in a 55-acre lush tropical landscape, the Houston Zoo is home to animals representing more than 800 species, providing housing, meals, medical care and even education! In addition, the Zoo averages 1.5 million guests each year who come to experience the incredible variety of animals and ecosystems, as well as attend special private and public events and entertainment.

Scope of Services

MCG Completed a full 100% Schematic Cost Plan for the Zoo’s African Tropical Forest Exhibit and Entry Plaza. The facilities include animal exhibits and holding areas, retail gift shops, restaurants and ticketing.
